Was Kaplan a veteran of one of Chet's Boyquaria? I don't know of anyone who made it out aside from Mac.

But that isn't really true. That's what I wanted out of the book but it wasn't really there. He only goes after a few people hard- Tomasulo, Mawicke, Pat Foley. I'm hoping his new book will do a better job.

It is sad to see what has become of Coppock. "Coppock in Sports" truly was ahead of its time and I liked the show and even the pontification. Kind of a Howard Cosell bit. But once he bombed in NY, he has been a total ass with absolutely zero class.

On a day when we lost Robin Williams, maybe Coppock can bow out next.

What did he say about Pat Foley?

I forget exactly what he said. It's obvious in the book that he doesn't like him. My guess is they knew each other as kids in Wilmette. I mean, who doesn't like Foley as an announcer?
