Didn't realize this was a thing but apparently Microsoft did a proper press briefing at Gamescom in Germany this morning and made some big (both surprising and already leaked) announcements...watching the replay now and will comment on what I find interesting, but some of the highlights.

The Sunset Overdrive Bundle, with the white Xbox One, is real. I believe the system is priced at 400, meaning the game is pretty much free.

Halo Waypoint is transitioning to Xbox One and is becoming the Halo Channel...most here won't care, but I was stoked at first hearing this.

Minor Megaton: the next Tomb Raider game is apparently exclusive to Xbox One. Long live Micro$oft. Read that Microsoft is going to give the devs a huge amount of "support" (cough cough money) in this game. I've heard rumors it's a timed exclusive but so far haven't been able to confirm that. Either way, I'm guessing there will be at least a few people upset by this news.

Anyways, they are rambling on and on about FIFA right now, and it isn't Idris Elba talking, so excuse me while I zone out for a few minutes.

Just saw the Tomb Raider announcer...I guess you could manipulate the language to say that the game will come out on other platforms, but really does sound like it's exclusive.

Now on to Remedy Games and Quantum Break. Finally get to see some live gameplay...

So you can slow time down for everyone else but you still move at normal speed...can also stop time around a small area...let's you unload a bunch of shots into the area and then when the time goes back to normal all the bullets unload on the target.

Just watching it on the One...I'm guessing the 360 would have a similar replay on it's live event player...

Evolve already had a beta on PC. Not sure how XBox can advertise it as exclusive. Maybe because it is open?

edit: First announcement about Tomb Raider I was worried, but with the phrasing and Microsoft remaining adamantly coy about follow up questions makes me sure it is a timed exclusive.

The original Tomb Raider had more sales on Playstation, and that makes sense with it being an Uncharted clone. Microsoft is trying to take some of that market share, but it won't remain an exclusive. I'd guess 6 months.
