I mean, really, why bother to listen? Meat has had many opportunities to sharpen his radio sword and put his name on the marquee...yet here we are. He blew his chances and instead of taking the flag and planting atop Mt. Meat he simply ran away and hid. Let his carousel of guest hosts take over the show, take more vacation days and generally not do anything. Well done.

Stuff will be talked about today, it will probably be centered around:
-Bad Bears talk. ZZ/HUB and other recycled guests that no ones cares about. They have nothing to say.
-Bulls? I don't know, I believe it's the afternoon shows thing to talk basketball and mainly focus on blacks being property to be owned by rich/old Jewish men and that Derrick is a child slave that should shut-up and get out on the court.
-Baseball? God, I hope not. White Sox are bad and Baez is now exposed as a nothing. The Plan? Ugh. What plan.
-Taste Tests- Yep. Now this gets me thinking that the FILM ROOM crap with Larry wasn't all Larry's idea....who knows maybe they can do some white board stuff when talking X's and O's.

Listen in, if you dare.

Spiegel's wikipedia page specifically notes that his son Rubin was named in honor of his mother's maiden name. You know Grimace wrote that in because he was so insecure people might think the kid was named in honor of a sandwich. What a petty weirdo vagina he is.

I love Abbatacola trying to act like a real hard-hitting journalist, citing some anonymous and esteemed NFL insiders in regards to McClellin. I guess he just doesn't want to come out and say that his sources are Greg Gabrielle, Hub Arkush and Pat Mannelly. Regardless, the opinions were less than earth shattering, and hardly worth the buildup.

More effort than Grimace has put in the past 3 months.

I did not know Grimace had a wiki page. I bet you he, or side of coleslaw (his wife), created it.

When not busy pretending to be a singer, Grimace's hobby is being a radio host. Sadly he would rather work one day a week, then actually hone is craft.

Grimace is known to be a heavy drinker, a whiner, and all around thin skinned round mound of sound.

I thought that was relatively impressive.

He *gasp* actually did some off-the-air work to bring to the show. At least it shows he's trying to do something here.

What in the F?

Tuned in earlier, and heard drinky do his best important.radio.voice to meatpants: "I consulted with a few experts, because you know I'm just a fan, and here's what they had to say:".....

As noted, he kept them anonymous. WHY? They're all people your station pays to say stuff on the air, anyway, just say I texted/tweeted a few guys that are on our endless list of Bears 'experts' and this is what they said.

I then tune in later to catch the tail end of the "guy draft" ... then greeted by a teaser of them eating something, on-air, with their update lady.

This station is broken. It's scary. At some point people above the local guys must actually look up from the numbers and give a random listen to the garbage this station is putting on the air, right?

meatpants is absolutely one of the most unlikeable, unfunny and lazy people I've heard on the radio - his bitch whining about not having a true 'partner' for the last two months is just insanity....not to mention that it's an absolute shot at the guys who have been sitting/squeezing in next to him in the studio. He can write it off with a "I've loved every guy that's been in, but...." - but constantly bitching about the fact that he has to talk sports, for a few hours a day, with a different dude each day is an absolute insult to everyone listening - especially those with real jobs.

Yeah I've switched over to C&J for my lunch time radio listening.

Really?

This and drinky making up that Cutler story last is him trying to act like he has sources and can break stories.

I'll bet you it went down like this.

Drinky: Hi Hub, I'd like to get your opinion on Shea for the show I'm doing tomorrow. Don't worry. I won't reveal you as my source. It will be our secret.

Hub: Uhhhhh...why don't you just play the sound of what I said about Shea when I did a show the other day. Or on my weekly visit, why don't you just ask me?

Drinky: Cuz I want people to think I have sources. Please, Hub? Please?

Hub: Alright, drinky. I think Shea sucks.

Drinky: Wooooooooooo hoooooooooooooo. Thanks, Hub. Bye.

Please. He might have called Jeff Dickerson or Moon Mullen.

Hub really isn't a bad guy. I used to do the mailings for pro football weekly for him. He was always really nice. He is just awful on the radio.

Back to this show, honestly is there anyone and not just the new guy like me, I mean anyone, who can stand Spiegel running the show? Maybe hungover Zombies. I've said it before, Mac and Matt aren't bad. Him on his own again almost makes Harry tolerable. I mean WTF.
