And members of The Police.

Based on Danny Boy's twitter feed, it looks like today's show may be a discussion for Really. Mature. People. about what is going on in Ferguson. Danny is upset about the clash (and members of The Clash) between the police (and members of The Police) and the big black studs who just want to protest. Danny was against the Occupy movement (white people), so it will be interesting to hear his comments on this.

In between t a l k i n g v e r y s l o w about race, the boys may mix in a little Chicago baseball, since last night we had a #JaviBomb and a #RizzOMG.

This show can change the world. Listen to this show or you are a racist.

Doesn't Dan think they should just move somewhere with better police?

It'll give him a chance to flaunt his voluminous depth of knowledge on old school hip hop / rap so I'm sure he will be busting out the Public Enemy NWA lyrics . No way he sides with the cops on this.

Well I don't think anyone is siding with the cops. But Dan will pretend to also be a martyr.

See, this is where I think the show has gone off the rails. There is no doubt in my mind that he will talk about it and how bad it is, and how journalists are be censored. Yes, it's an important topic and yes he has a vehicle to raise awareness on the issue. But he hosts a sports show dammit. People don't tune in to hear discussion of police/race/media relations. They want to hear about who will start at safety for the Bears and some other goofy shit. We can all find that discussion if we want elsewhere, or he can go elsewhere to talk about it.

I think he cares more about what's happening to the journalists rather than what's happening to the actual citizens of Ferguson.

Im actually looking forward to this. Ill actually listen. This is one of the 5 or 6 days a year Dan is gonna be fired up and put in some effort (as opposed to AUTO BERNSTEIN responses and dismissals)

He's probably in the locker room pacing back and forth shadow boxing right now

Who will be the first to call or email to thank Dan for "all of his hard work" on this story? Bill on Capitol Hill, Schmutzie, MadduxBoy?

Now I'm picturing what a Score locker room would look like. You'd have Terry getting rubbed down with Icy Hot, Dan sitting in the sauna talking about white wine, and DaMaNa and Spiegel soapin' up and singin' in the shower while Murph sits in the corner in his leather pants watching them.

Hanley just hangs out in the locker room chatting people up all day.

Mully gets very territorial over his locker space

McNeil's locker radio is probably smashed to bits by now by now.

Terry has no traditional locker. There's just a giant screen instead with a Skype icon.

Serendipity ... the last word of CF's post is 'racist', followed immediately by a .gif of the Indians' scoreboard ...

Of course the cops overracted by firing tear gas.

But it's gonna be fake outrage by Bernstein today. Gotta take advantage of these episodes to hide his racism. Guarantee you if the protesters were in his neighborhood, he'd be yelling for the cops to "Tear gas 'em!!!!!". Then he and his son would be watching together from the window in a touching father-son moment.

Bernstein's son: What's happening Dad? Why are you laughing so hard?

Bernstein: Wang whippers vs. Tear Gas, son. Bad matchup. (Takes a sip of his wine as he watches the chaos.)

Also one of the big reasons Pappy went bad. For some reason, he thought everyone needed to hear his worldviews.
