Complain all you want about drinky, Jurco, ZZ all you want but Haugh is easily the dumbest motherfucker in print, tv (impressive!) or radio.

I can't understand how any type of manager think he's qualified to offer opinions. He either offers horrible thoughts or rambles/writes without a thought. And yet he's on every platform saying who the hell knows what. For media bosses to decide Haugh is a valued opion maker shows Chicago truly is a town of dumbasses.

This seems to be the best career path for the brain dead sports fan with a liberal arts degree. First get a job writing about sports for one of the papers. That isn't hard now. It's a dying medium and the job can't pay anything. But what it can do is allow you to parlay that byline into a good paying job in electronic media. Guys like Haugh and Adam Jahns are perceived to have more gravitas than a drinky or Herb simply based upon the fact that they write for newspapers.

I would assume B&B. They were being nice but then they actually listened to what he said and read what he wrote...yeesh.

completely 100% agree, i'd rather listen to lawrence's show.... that's how bad haugh is. i was happy he got a gig at the game because it meant he wouldnt be on WSCR anymore... ever. He's one of the last reliable WYC material generators.... since more often than not he'll contradict himself within a week

It's not that he's a dumbass.

It's how 'high' he is in the market given how much of a vapid dumbass windsock dullard he is yet is still who he is where he is that if just butt-fucking maddedning. A plane should've been flown into the Tribune Tower the day the put his name within 6 inches of the words phrase 'In the Wake of the News'.

I think the dude he's paired with is easily worse. But I suppose nobody even pretends Kaplan is an authority on anything.

As I said in another thread, it was a great day for South Bend when Haugh left town. Unfortunately you guys are now stuck with him. Whistle-prick.
