Matty just isn't a full-time host. He's just weirdly hostile but also kind of ignorant, which makes for a bad combination.

I thought the Goff/Spiegel pairing was pretty good when that happened during Mac's prior absence, but still nothing to get that excited about. I'd like to hope they can do better, but I'll probably just wind up settling for not-Larry.

I like the idea posited elsewhere that no matter who they choose they need to split up the mid-day shift into two shows.

According to Feder the frontrunners are Jim Miller and Pat Mannelly...

Nothing including Meat is going to be something to get excited about.

Meat and Goff is probably about the best you can do.

Yeah, it needs to be a 9-12 show, a 12-2 show, and then 2-6 for B&B. With no Mac transition, there's no point to having that extra hour, especially with the show being so fucking unfunny now.

Does Meat have to stay on middays? He's proven twice that without Mac he can't generate any ratings and the show is unlistenable.

North side = Anybody from the north side.
