The fact jerry has controlled a number of owners votes, basically by letting them in to MLB isnt a secret to anyone.
Its the single reason Cuban was never allowed to by the Cubs. Jerry could never control him.
All that said, I don't think this made Jerry a bad guy. He fought for his continued control over MLB and lost.
Others here have mentioned Jerry skirting the the ethical line when it comes to trying to cut deals with players, without their agents around. I don't know the exact law on that, but it is in effect on all levels of law, you dont speak to the other sides client unless given permission to.
The 'contributions" to every single poltician to get whatever he wanted, yeah, that can be construed as dirty, maybe even illegal.
The constant fights with coaches and managers over contracts.
There is lotsa stuff to go after Jerry about, but fighting to maintain the control he had isnt it. How he got it might be, but this election was him doing what he does, fights for power.
