Maybe one of the greatest pacers of all time.....this was definitely the guttiest performance I can ever remember

That was one unbelievable race. I loved Riyadh. A fantastic racehorse. He could leave the gate like a jet. Presidential Ball was a great horse. I'm pretty sure that's who I bet in that one. I figured he would have the pocket. And Life Sign seemed to be in a difficult spot jammed between all those Robinson horses without their superior speed off the wings. What a drive by Campbell! As soon as he sees Morrill isn't going to let him go he backs his horse off and looks for a spot on the rail. Putting him away for those few seconds on that first turn is probably what wins the race. But then he has to come first up again. I kept waiting for him to fade. And he just wouldn't go away. You just don't see horses race that game.

It was amazing to have three great pacers racing at the same time. You will find two have a great rivalry but those three just lit up racetracks.

Yeah, this was a great one, too. Riegle using Nuclear Design as a rabbit to soften up Riyadh. I think Life Sign may have won this one if he hadn't ducked sideways and got his wheel up under Presidential Ball.
