That might be, but this news babe, Brooke Weisbrod, is bad.

Just a joke, noname - that's what Sarah sounds like. I've heard Brooke as well, you are correct.

Ah sorry for getting a little sensitive there. Oh man, I forgot how annoying Finfer's voice is. I might not be able to last much longer on The Game. No way I am going back to Douche & dishwater.

No worries, noname - I heard Finfer's show one day a few weeks back and they were all poking fun at Ben's remarkable similarity to Kermit the Frog. Finji was even joining in and saying Muppet lines. It was pretty funny. I give Finfer credit, he approached it with a great sense of self deprecating humor.

Is there a single good update person in the whole industry? They're all mush-mouthed buffoons with unpleasantly generic voices.

Someone here has hinted that Score update copy is (or was) written longhand and handed to the anchor mere moments before going on, leading to the parade of Clueless Joe Jacksons who have done scoreboard updates over the years. This is almost too implausible and stupid to believe, but this is the Score we're talking about.

Dan "The Duke" Davis. He was great when Kornheiser had his old ESPN Radio show. He was smooth, well spoken, and above all else, professional. Sadly he retired.

That's nonsense.

And George used to rotate two sets of copy, (that he typed) all day unless there was some sort of breaking news.

Look at George working twice as hard as Rodewald, who will make the exact same stupid joke at the top and bottom of every hour. But he's on the air and I'm not (except for when I am).

This can not be the new mid day show. No fucking way. Spiegel sucks & is getting worse, & Mannelly has no business on the radio.

Put Goff & Drinky on in mid days...or Rosey & Grote...or Rozner & Grote.

The new show announcement occurring when the main host is off could not be any more fitting for this show.

Does that mean Speigs is NOT on the show? I mean, that would be really awkward for him if he WERE there.

It is hilarious. In the first week of Mac being officially gone Spiegel went to Vegas to work a different job and is then taking off for at least part of a next week and maybe the whole thing.

They shouldn't even put his name in the show title.

Agree, too many days off for another gig. Mac brought in the ratings. His name alone was worth something, proof in that they kept his name on everything until the last second. I am just so surprised that they let him take off as much time as they do.

Mitch doesn't seem to care much whether his hosts show up or not. Now, I've never run a radio station, but it seems to me like high-attendance rate would be a priority. Not only for the sake of the listeners, but also so you wouldn't be constantly juggling your roster.

It's a thing. Announcement Wednesday, and Grimmace is off all week.

So, seeing as how a lot of you claimed to not listen today, did anyone else hear the Sauerbrun story?

Mannelly caught him slapping it to some porn at 6am when they were travel roommates.

So Meat bitched and whined and played the victim card because he had a revolving carousel of co-hosts since Mac has been gone. He did this stuff both times Mac was on extended "leave," right?

And now, when he gets his name on the marquee and it is going to be HIS SHOW..........he takes an entire week off. The week his partner and show will be made official.

Too fucking classic.

But hey, HE'S TRYING REALLY HARD.

It's easy to give Spiegs shit about this, but how hard is it for someone, anyone, in the room to say "hey, guys...maybe we just wait to announce this on the Tuesday after Labor Day?"

That's the first week of the Bears season. They need to have the show in place that week.

So it makes sense that Meat is taking the entire week off...

Total lack of self-awareness.
