Quigley is already a manager for both The Game and 720. Him also leaving wouldn't be too big of a surprise with those other commitments.

Mac and Finfer noon-3 would be great.

I have thought from the beginning that Quigs is just a temp until they have everything in place.

Finfer is doing pretty good over there. He has lightened up a bit and doesn't take himself so seriously these days. His update gal, Julie, is very good as well. Finji's change of scenery makes The Game a nice escape.

How does The Game look with Mac & Goff & a move to a full power FM frequency?

Can people please drop the "full FM frequency" argument. SH, you live about the same distance from Chicago, and 87.7 comes in fine around here. The ratings when the alternative rock station was on the frequency were respectable (High 1's, Low 2's), and now they are losing to college radio stations. That's not the fault of the frequency they are on.

I mention it because there have been many rumblings that moving The Game to a better FM frequency is in Jimmy DeCastros plans. The plan isn't to grow the station on 87.7, which is a weak station. Jimmy DC isn't known for doing things half assed. He has a plan. Don't think that he doesn't recognize that the sports radio listeners in Chicago are low hanging fruit right now.

820 was a shit frequency and The Score started as a daytime only show. Doing things half-assed is approaching it with the intention that tomorrow is when things will get better around here--as today is about treading water. I've taken several road trips in the past few weeks and the 87.7 signal can be heard many places that people claim it can't (at least in my car).

Grow that station today get the better signal tomorrow, not wait until we get a better signal to have the better station.

The transmitter power of WGWG-LP 87.7 FM is 3000 watts, while both WSCR (670AM) and WMVP (1000AM) have 50,000 watts of power.

I like Finji and I'll listen to his show.

He and Silvy are the only hosts in town that don't make me feel like I'm an asshole.
