That they did, SHARK, that they did. They didn't suck like Aerosmith.

SPORTS. ATTITUDE. BITE.

welcome back, SHARKeroo. if my sporadic facebook/twitter msgs had anything to do with this then well i'm glad i could help reunite the CSFMB with one of its very own.

i know some people like to slag SHARK off for his "reporting", however the ethos behind that kind of ad hominem crap is literally why we can't have nice things. i always found SHARK to be one of the beloved constants of the CSFMB, and you know that b&b was truly entering a downward free-fall when even an unbiased reporter like SHARK is taking shots at them left and right. he's a veritable barometer of the board because he doesn't do petty circlejerks, he doesn't bloviate (if my name was a verb it would be that) about hypotheticals.... he just deals with the facts and puts in some actual effort to bring us pertinent news and information related to chicago radio and/or sports, which is awesome because this way i don't have to go putz around websites to find out the information that SHARK has conveniently placed right in the apropos thread which makes all of the technicalities imminently effortless and convenient to find.

not to mention that we very well might be able to re-institute the RED ALERT system so anyone who happens upon a b&b thread to see what's going on with the show today will know when zach zaidman is going to grace the airwaves to give you toe the bears company line ("you want a toe? i can get you a toe." - walter sobchak) and vex us to hell and back with the type of #synergy that phil emery was talking about right around the time of the bears signing their latest deal with 670thescore.

so yeah, for all that and the other SHARK related things that i've forgotten about, i gladly welcome SHARK back with open arms as i have been beating the drums for his return for at least 6 months. it's just not the full-on 100% proper CSFMB experience without SHARK, and to all the haters out there.... listen here, chum, perhaps you need to learn a little something from those of us with sunglasses because when it comes to ATTITUDE. and BITE. on the CSFMB you're gonna have to...

You're on your own with the "Boers & Bernstein" stuff. When I'm at work, I can't participate.

Your last sentence is an apt description of Terry's role in the show the last ten years.

well hey, can you tell me where you're able to look up all of the information about guests/times/etc? idk if you just made a point to listen to the show open and jotted down the particulars from them reading them off, or if there's some webpage with the info somewhere on boersandbernstein.com (itself another tentacle of the chicago.cbslocal.com/cbslocal.com cthulu which seeks to destroy the world in a fit of bland/vanilla conformity that makes an army of robots look like a jackson pollock painting)

i'll gladly don my BIG BEN GORDON persona and carry the TORCH!!!!!! and try to make informative daily b&b threads that are more than just the usual "meh" / "well since nobody else made a thread for today..." efforts that we get in the year of our lord 2014.

since you left, SHARK, we've "lost" board stalwarts original kid cairo, terry's peeps, drop in, keeping score, and uhhhh i think also urlacher's missing neck and roughly 75% of hawg ass (cuz the ~25% we get here is basically just 100% circlejerky emoticons and a weird cult(/of-personality)ish vibe that is established when people are colloquially making posts like "COMEON HAWGER  ") ---- so yeah a good chunk of the b&b ALS has hit the road north to talk about some "big show" leaving someguy here to take credit for his veritable third crusade in the name of all that's holy and borne of divine mandate (mac/speagol daily threads)

TL;DR = if you're willing to teach me some of your ways i will do my best to help keep the tradition alive when you're busy working. regardless of the future (which is simultaneously great and terrible because it hasn't happened yet)

All I can say regarding "Boers & Bernstein" tomorrow is they've got their hands full. They'll get callers who simply don't have a damn clue about football.

The callers will fit right in with the hosts, then.
