He can be used on offense but the reason to bring him in is special teams

What I don't understand is why the team never drafted DeAnthony Thomas from Oregon over Carey. He would have slotted right in as our return man and would have been a fun tool for Trestman to have on offense.

Short yardage is an issue because the Bears haven't been good at run blocking in about 7 years. Looks like they have the pass blocking under control.
