Our ‪#‎WednesdayConfessional‬ this week is the Score's very own Laurence Holmes! There isn't much Laurence doesn't do in the world of Chicago sports working for NBC 5 Chicago, 120 Sports and, of course, 670 The Score! He always brings his A-game to everything he does and he did so today with his answers to our questions below:

1. Who's your favorite person to work with at The Score? "I’ll work with pretty much anyone, but working with Dan (Bernstein) is a challenge for me. I usually do my show off an outline. Dan never tells you where he’s gonna start from. It’s maddening."

2. Best Personal Sports memory? "I hit 2 home runs in the same game against Rosary when I was at DePaul (one was inside the park). They were the only homers I hit: little league, HS summer league or college."

3. Biggest celebrity crush? "I’ve got it bad for Sanaa Lathan, Kerry Washington, Jennifer Lopez & Amy Schumer."

4. If you could bring 3 items with you to a deserted island, what would they be? "A good knife, a lighter, and a Brita."

5. Best moment working with the A-Team? "'Ask Herb' is really fun for me. Unleashing Herbie on the public is just what the show needed. The best part is watching Joe's reaction as the segment goes on. If we're having a good time, I feel like the listener is, too. And we a GOOD time during that segment."

I grimace just as much reading that as I do listening to his abortion of a show.

A knife a lighter and a brita?
Not great choices aside from the knife.

I met Amy a few years back and took a picture with her. She gets it.

by park he means Horner Park, as those club teams play on the same fields we used to play on in little league. A sharp grounder rolls all day on the cement like surface and creates many a "home run".

i iike how he picked two black chicks then went to a spicy latina before picking a token white chick. laurence represents "the community" with pride when he's interviewed, but i'd bet any amount of $$$ that IRL he'd go for white chicks 10/10 times b4 anything else.

You better give me credit for that last line, sport. You know I was wanting to start calling him Bags of Sand.

I would like to bring it to the attention of the CSFMB that while I did make reference to Leary referring to a woman's breasts feeling like a bag of sand, redskingreg would like to nickname Leary "Bags of Sand" because he is most likely very inexperienced with women, much like the main character of the 2005 comedy "The 40-Year-Old Virgin."

3. Biggest celebrity crush? Locally, Ginger Zee was into me. I talked about it on my show. Cheryl Scott was looking for it, of course, but she's like a sister to me so I couldn't do anything like that. Recently, I dated that chick from the Rams' shower but I could tell that wouldn't work. Wait, did I understand your question?

I love how he still tries to act like he played actual college ball.
