For Stupidity: Jerry Meals in the 19th inning calling a runner safe who was tagged out four feet ahead of home plate. Just unbelievable -- I'm guessing he was tired or something?

For importance: Jim Joyce at 1B calling the 27th batter safe. This is a fan's video of it happening, and you can tell even from the third base side he was out.

That was a good one -- I remember watching it in Kenosha on the way back from a Cubs/Brewers game the night before -- I should open this thread in a general sports category.

I still say the Jerry Meals one is worse though... this one, at least I can see the "logic".
