The 49ers offense isn't good and their defense isn't the same because of injuries. I've been saying that for weeks. I said it before the game on Sunday. Contain Kaepernick in the pocket and the 49ers can't beat you. I was also telling everyone that the Bears should pass the ball and ignore the run. Why? Because the Bears suck at run blocking but they're great at pass blocking.

Penalties and TOs were a major factor, no doubt, but you still have to cash in on those opportunities. Without looking it up, I think the Bears drove 80 yards for two scores and cashed in on short fields for the other two scores. Given the injuries to half of the Bears four best offensive players (not deep enough as it is), it was an impressive performance by most everyone except special teams.

Haven't watched SF closely but yeah he doesn't look like the answer out there. I thought he was the next big thing when he broke out two years ago, but I'm not sure he's the difference maker a lot of folks thought he was.
