Why not? How many times does Spiegs ask him questions during the show now? He knows hockey and baseball. Pat knows football and Spiegs loves basketball. Perfect combination!

I think he's ok with basketball. At least he likes it, which is a huge step over most at the station.

He's good at baseball, too. Actually Spiegel is 'fine', overall...he's just not that compelling a personality, plus all the insecurity quirks brought up by the board kind of ruined him a bit for me

Oddly I think Terry watches the most basketball he just can't formulate a thought on it. Mac loathed it so it made Spiegs sound like a superfan.

I think he's terrible talking baseball because he inevitably makes it about him being the last true baseball fan. Like Spiegs is the only guy keeping the torch lit for baseball in America.
