The show is kind of like Jello....it looks ok, it tastes ok but it isn't anything that I'd ever seek out. BUT, when you combine it with whipped cream, pretzels and such you get a tasty conCOCKtion. But if you combine it with something silly and dumb you get a show that's like the one dessert at Christmas that no one touches. It sits there, all alone...it may look ok but upon closer inspection you simply don't want to bother with it.

SO, another day of the Speigs and Mannelly show, another tasty treat of diabolically erotic soulfulness. What will be talked about?

BEARS.
Hockey Preseason? 'Hawks chances? Will they go there? If they do they need to lean on the 3rd wheel as a good show leader knows when to call in the experts.
Meat will definitely give Mannelly a pat on the head when he asks a good question. I bet her really appreciates that.

Post your thoughts here.

Yes, this show is like the jello from National Lampoons Christmas Vacation with the cat food in it. They
will depend on Zawaski when it comes to hockey talk which I don't really mind since he appears to know
what he is talking about. I know that Pat really wants to make every effort to get up to speed on the
nuances of the game so he can talk intelligently about it. Mac covered up a lot of Chunky's shortcomings
with the hockey talk which I thought peaked at speaking about Marsh pegs. Maybe a little chatter about
the Cubs winning a walk off game last night against the Cards but for all intents and purposes baseball
is Chicago is over until 2015.

I prefer crackers and licorice.

COrrect me if I'm wrong, but didn't Spiegel roll into town doing the same "hockey fans are just stupid white trash racists" thing that Bernstein was doing at the time?

I honestly can't remember much about the early days of Spiegel. I know that Mac drove most of the Hawkey
talk and tried to keep Matt in the corner during those segments.

Ugh.... I guess this is the easy section of the show.... stoke the fans fire with Bears/Packers rivalry...

"Rivalry and retribution
Death... the only solution"

Looking forward to tomorrow's show.

Grimeat gone with Grote filling in with Mannelly.

Should be a good one.

Sweeeet. Best news I've heard all day. I'll be tuning in.

I'll give Spiegs a little credit for saying "The iron man streak comes to an end at 17 days." Gave me a chuckle.

Long live Boyd for that.

Grote's pretty good. I'll give this one a shot.
