Yeah that was awful. A terrible PI on the Bears drive early... and an awful 15 yard penalty on the Jets TD... just terrible so far.

I'm not sure it's fair to blame the refs for calling the stupid language penalty. It's just a dumb fucking rule to begin with and it opens up the door for refs to use way too much subjective judgement.

Last two games have been a disaster. The refs are making themselves a part of the game.

Bad officiating is there to distract you from the god-awful football being played in the NFL so far this season.

It is still baseball season all. You don't yet need to subject yourself to the second tier "sport" of football. Let the game gentlemen prefer entertain you until you must watch episodes of one of the most repetitive TV shows in history.

It was garbage all day long. Bostic, Williams, Mundy, the Packers center twice (forget his name). The new rules and the penalties called now are fucking jokes. Player Safety is one thing, flag football is another and the NFL is trending dangerously close to the latter.

Please point out where I blamed the Bears loss on the officiating. I said it was garbage all day long. The Bears benefitted from some BS calls, and they got hurt by some as well. If you take what I said to mean that I'm blaming a 20 point loss on the zebras, that says more about you than it does about me.

of course they do. less contact = easier job and longer career. and the nfl would love to promote a more reliable line of showstars. the only thing both sides are overlooking is the fact that the fans want real football. i suspect this will eventually result in another "UFL" rising up again. this time a league full of convicts

Despite the advancements in technology, instant replay, reviews, and the popularity of the NFL, officiating is the worst it has ever been. The league should be up in arms about the officiating shit show that occurs every Sunday. The integrity of the league and this game is at stake. Fix this shit now.
