Above average. They've had 1 bad game and it came against the best quarterback in the NFL.

That makes no sense.

They played well against every other opponent.

Above average when comparing them to the entire NFL.

Bad when you take into account their talent. Which, on offense, is top 5 in the NFL.

But I'm encouraged that it will get better.

There is no way they should be less than a top 5 offense in points and yards by the end of the year.

Average.

Injuries have held down it's full potential.

The only flaw they have is at quarterback.

We have a potential top 5 offense. Everyone has to get healthy.

I thought before the year that Cutler would have a 40 TD and 20 INT season. And that would be good enough for at least 10 wins. Well, he's on pace for 40 and 16.

Good

This is an offense that gives a defensive coordinator concerns the week prior to games and puts pressure on defenses in games. It can win shootouts.

Noticed just this exact thing last Sunday.

They are not good enough to offset the defense. Especially the way D played Sunday.

This offense is basically the Lions of the past few years. They will put up good yardage sometimes and will occasionally score a lot but won't be consistent or timely.

That makes a lot of sense, leash.

Silvy said they were great, and I felt there was something not right about that.

We're not even healthy yet. Marshall and Alshon are still injured and Wilson won't be off IR until after the Bye Week.

I think if Marshall, Jeffrey and Wilson are not injured, the Bears probably are 4-0 right now. Good offense only because of that; otherwise, great offense.

I haven't been solid in about 10 years

I dunno, Jay is so squirrely. And the defense really sucks. The coach can be goofy too.

Yeah, he is. But he is still having a great season so far despite losing Wilson and having Jeffrey and Marshall hobbled. Its still early. I think when we reach the end of the season, there will be at least 4-6 pro bowlers from the offense. And they still will miss the playoffs.

I'm confident some of you all are NEVER happy and would complain if you had nothing to complain about. If anyone said Cutler wouldn't have a healthy receiver after the 2nd quarter of Week 1 just about everyone here would have expected him to suck. Instead he's on pace to have the best season of his career and has put up great numbers after 4 games.

1006 passing yards
10 touchdowns
4 interceptions
94.7 QB Rating
68 rushing yards
77% of total offense

I don't know if there is anybody here that wants Cutler to succeed more that I do. I'm not really interested in #s. I want him to kick ass with no excuses. I don't know that he can. Sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn't.

Cutler does it more often than he doesn't. He's not elite. We all know that. Just get into the playoffs and hope he can do it for 3 or 4 straight games. Which he can.

I don't think he does. He's been a HUGE let down for me. I don't think he can do it for 3-4 games against playoff talent.
