I think Forte is critical to the success of the Bears offense and Cutler's success. He does a lot that doesn't show up on a stat sheet.

I have NEVER lost a monetary wager on this board. I've won over $1300 (Some went to a charity I like). I guess I tend to see things well before others recognize them.

Mercy. Nas and gd could not have been more wrong about this offense.

Just so you two know, the Bears-- who according to you have an elite offense that gives DCoordinators nightmares-- had 3 drives of 17 yards or less yesterday. With a chance to run the clock and ice the game yesterday, they ended the day with two 3 and outs yesterday, and their 3rd to last drive they got one 1st down then punted. Their longest drive of the day was 56 yards. They have scored 0 points in the first quarter their last 6 games, and have been shutout in the first half on 3 different occasions this year.

That doesn't give anybody except Bears fans nightmares.

If we're basing this conversation purley on actual performance I'd say average/bad. They can't get out of their own way in the 1st half of just about any game I have seen and only look serviceable in the 2nd half most of the time when they're playing with a handicap ie teams already up by 30 points.

I haven't watched the last couple of games tho so maybe they have been better from the start.

If we base this off of potential I think they'd rank pretty high, but this isn't the off season and there is no reason atm to base this discussion off of their potential.

I think their currents offensive woes are a combination of coaching/Cutler/injuries.
