You can't push the QB?

This fucking league blows.

The way it was explained it seems it was the flexing he had issue with.

I heard that. WTF is that?

Only thing I can possibly imagine is that said flexing showed the defender was actively trying to push him and didn't just run into him...but yeah, pretty bizarre.

I figure it's along the lines of the ball was (in NFL terms) long since thrown, but the defensive player not only went after contact, but made extra effort to make contact when he didn't necessarily have to (e.g., he wasn't flying through the air, he had full control of the contact by initiating it via extra effort ... the so-called "flexing").

Although it just sounds like he taunted Jay by doing some Hulk Hogan type shit, brother.

My first thought went to Hogan.

In any event, considering present company in thought, I need a shower.

I think he meant to say extend, not flex.

The call on Marshall (actually called on Jeffrey but clearly meant for Marshall) was just plain wrong. Blindside my ass.

Agreed. Once again I'm wondering if this is still football.

How can you blindside a guy that's running right at you?

Personal Foul - Offense number 15 - Great block - 15 yards - repeat second down.

They called another one at the start of the game. It appears you get rewarded as a defender for not paying attention when you are less than 5 yards away from the ball carrier. I've never heard that call before today.

The PI was the correct call. Fuller never turned his head to look for the ball.

Though, that's wha happened on Marshall pick so they missed that one.

Bull fucking shit. Carolina did the same to us not looking for ball and no call.

I had never heard of it, either. How does it get called twice on the same team?

That's what I recall as well.

That one pissed me off to no end. First of all, they called it on the wrong guy, so the announcers had nothing to say about it, which pissed me off. But we went back and watched it again, this time focusing on Marshall, and he simply made a great block. Knocked the guy on his ass. Exactly what you're supposed to do. If that's an illegal block, we're not playing football anymore, period.
