Now that you mention it, yes, I think he did.

Enjoy. Emery and Tresty are riding the Cutler ship until it sinks.

Yes Doug said Winful.

Well, Oprah's been off the air for years. Maybe there's some drag-queen ripoff on Chicago public access named Oprah Winful, and he/she goes around town reviewing pizzas.

He was so hoping the Bears would win, it consumed him, and somehow it all got conflated and confused as he was doing a strange read wherein a plea for pizza perfection was made using Oprah's name and, well, a very small aneurysm occurred and caused the unfortunate mispronunciation.

"I don't know what you're talkin' about Carcilla." I missed Doug and OB.

Dumbest football game I ever saw. Up by 14 and blow the lead. Up by 3 and throwing the ball with 8 minutes left, when you can just run the ball and punt. Beyond stupid for Cutler to throw the interception over the middle. Loss is completely on Cutler. No situational awareness to know that he didn't have to throw a ball over the middle when the team was leading by 3. And the pass wasn't even close.

Well, I have officially jumped off the Cutler ship. And for someone who went out of their way to defend him, it actually feels quite good. Like a weight lifted off my shoulders.

I dont see how anyone can think there is anything more to see from him. Verdict is in. How couldn't it be?

The verdict was in before this year. I'm still surprised Tresty and Bears Mgt. made him the highest paid QB in the NFL.

I have criticized Tresty before for hiring Joe and Mel. Both bad decisions. I was never in favor of signing Jay. Everyone already knew what and who he was.

This has got to be the worst special teams unit in football.

In every aspect except for maybe Gould (Even with his rare miss today.)

Certainly has to be the worst in recent Bears memory?..

Doug and OB just said that Carolina was going into this game ranked 28th against the run.

We should have had at least 3 rushing TD's today.

The play calling was really odd...just about every pass was short. Either Trestman has lost confidence that Cutler can go long without a high probability of a pick, or the receivers are gimpier than they've let on.

He did it last week, too. I thought it would have been a soundbite for someone.

I about lost my shit on that last return when that dude fielded the ball 10 yds deep, gets a full gallop going and then runs directly into a defender at the 15. Straight as an arrow.

No reason to think that Joe D is a good coach but, what the hell. Just run in direction where the defender isn't.

This team is full of clown-ass shit.

This zone defense makes me want to visit the sun.

To be fair Carolina's tallest defender is a looming 6 footer, so it's not like those dudes had a tremendous advantage.

Did martellus play today?

Watching the first 22 minutes is okay. Watching the rest is bad for your health.

I have been an unabashed supporter of Trestman...but I am wavering...on the fence...on the ledge...

If the Niners part ways with my guy Jim Harbaugh, the Bears gotta get him. This Bears team is undisciplined and has no fire or pashun. Stupid penalties, guys not playing to the whistle and watching the other team make plays. Fuck. It's painful to watch. I dont care what field you are in, sometimes guys need to get reamed out and pushed to do better. This passive play it safe bull shit never wins.

Trestman is on probation as my avatar!

I was kind of looking forward to seeing what Trestman could do. But I've come to the conclusion he is overmatched as an NFL head coach. He is more suited to the CFL or maybe even college. I thought he would be a perfect OC but I'm beginning to have doubts about that.

Understood, FF... I guess the disappointing thing is that they didn't even seem to try and air it out.

Today was a bad day. I really hope their lack of trust in Ola protecting Cutler is why they went with a 10 yards or less gamelan. Even if that were the case it was terrible and the Panthers defense had it easy in the 2nd half.

Our offense did not help with time of possession but our defense took the second half off.

The defense played well. The offense put them in spots that were going to lead to points as long as the Panthers didn't turn the ball over. The defense gave up 14 points that didn't come off of turnovers.

And we got 3 turnovers and did not maximize.
