Correct. Likeability is something I consider when I root for professional athletes who I, you know, don't have any affiliation with otherwise.

I just overlook douchiness if they're good. Jay is not.

There's nothing likeable about this team. Every fucking guy is a whiny little turd. That's why McCown was embraced immediately. He wasn't always acting like a little bitch.

You really believe that every guy on the team is a whiny little turd? That seems pretty dramatic. Why do you say that?

Not literally every man on the entire roster, but all the high profile guys that do the talking. Maybe Kyle Long isn't if you consider him high profile. Just an unlikeable team. And a mediocre one too.

To me, it's mostly the stench of Cutler, Marshall and Zach Zaidman that makes the team unlikable. Peanut is a great guy, but he's obviously riding off into the sunset.

The good news is Nas's one loss is out of the way. The Bears will now win 3 straight.

I would imagine the Atlanta game will be a shootout. I don't like the Bears chances in such a contest.

My favorite part of the Cutler Fanatics argument is that they steadfastly refuse to mention his interceptions.

He has twice as many touchdowns. We like to focus on the positives. They outweigh the negatives right now.

Respectfully ... I'm not sure it reflects well on a fella to say they don't like the Bears because of ZZ.

This is fair. However, the argument for Cutler has always been that his statistics lie and don't reflect his actual value. I'm more than willing to start using statistics to judge him against his peers.

It's also a problem if you are using total completions and total yards without also citing the obvious and more useful statistics like yards per attempt(23rd), interceptions(tied for most in league), and yards per game(11th) and even qb rating(13th).

So I guess citing his statistics compared to his peers is now a good way to judge him!

Let's not mention the total of 6 points the offense has put up in the last 2 second halves. Not Jays fault.

You can but you also have to mention the 50 or so points they scored in the 2nd half of the first 3 games.

How about the whole game?

The Bears are 16th in points scored per game. They are 23rd in points given up per game.

They have also played against 4 good to great defenses.

At least so far, neither Carolina or the Jets are a good defense.

I'd say one great defense, two good defenses, and two below average to bad defenses.

Their lowest scoring game of the season was against one of the worst defenses in the league.

Let's not forget to mention that he has what many consider the best wide receiver tandem in the league along with a top 5 Rb along with a top 5 to 7 TE. He's got the weapons to be putting up points. He is not. I believe I read on ESPN that he ranks 30th out of 32 qb's in completion percentage after 15 yards. 2 and a half more years of this guy but by than it will be past Forte's prime and the same with Marshall.

Should have parted ways when you had the chance.

I have been told on more than one occasion by a Cutler fanatic that interceptions and to's do not matter. No seriously.

M&H pointed out this morning that Cutler's stats thru 5 games this year are actually better than his stats thru 5 games last year.

More passing TD, rating was like 6 points higher, same amount of INT and sacks.

I have been told by a "fan" that celebrates Bears losses that McCown is a better QB. Multiple times. No seriously.

Well, he definitely ran Trestman's offense better.
