Well, I'm guessing Mashinter is outta here the second he's healed up (can't assign injured players). But now Lazerus is saying the Hawks are compliant with their 23, which doesn't square up with Capgeek's calculations. Interesting.

They're even more compliant now that Capgeek found out the Coyotes retained $211,950 of Rundblad's contract. Of course they did; broke-ass team's looking for dead cap space anywhere they can find it.

Versteeg is out for the rest of the month, though. Uh oh.
