My larger point was every year there is some can't miss must have (sometimes Heisman) QB that everyone must have. So yeah Luck is fine but where does he stand in the NFL? And larger point is most come in as hype and suck like Pryor, Leaf, Bradford etc.

No there isn't. He's a top-5 quarterback. No they don't.

Luck was considered the best QB prospect since Elway. Slightly different echelon of prospect we're talking here.

Eh...maybe since Manning.
But you're right. He was 'can't miss'....and is proving everybody right. He's currently a top-5 QB in the league and still young.

What about all his turnovers and all the passes that should have been intercepted? Only bad to average QB's throw passes like that every game. He'll never learn. The Colts should let him go immediately.

it doesn't make sense to have a beard like that in houston, texas. that beard belongs in antarctica or the icy cape.

I think offense favors the Colts. 30-21.

That's an okay stat but all of those near interceptions tells me he will never be more than a slightly above average QB. He's going to be looking for a big payday soon and I think the Colts would be foolish to pay a guy like him a lot of money. Sure he went to a smart school but he just isn't smart enough to learn that you can't be a great QB if you have 7+ hypothetical interceptions a game.

Not sure what your point is with all of this. I'd be just fine judging actual results and not potential mistakes or making excuses like you have been doing all week.

Except you and many others here spent the first few weeks of the season doing just that. You all said there isn't another good QB in the NFL that throws a bunch of passes that could be intercepted every week.

When I have the time later today I will search for the posts of your and others complaining about Cutler's play despite his touchdowns to interceptions ratio being no worse than 3 to 1 until the 2nd half of the Packers game.

That is a different statement all together.

I believe most of the talk was about how it will eventually even out and it was still early and it has started to.

oh wait, are we talking about jay cutler or andrew luck here? with that description nas gave you can literally replace "Colts" with "Bears" and you're pretty much describing jay cutler in a nutshell. or conversion van.

 I don't believe I said that. Almost every quarterback has some bad throws every week. Even Rodgers and Brees have a few.

Some do it more than others and some don't put up the gaudy numbers that overcome it...
