Very courageous. Especially when you consider that he was NOT going to get another job in the NFL.

Agreed. Also he was the GM of a team for 10 years so he presumably swept stuff under the rug as well. Classy to call everybody out now.

Lets all leave "classy" out of any discussion regarding the NFL. Time for an honest admission that NFL football is nothing more than lowest common denominator "entertainment".

Waiting for Thurogood Bernstien to suggest he has criminal exposure for not reporting crimes

I was thinking more along the lines of Ruth Bader Bernstein.

Thurgood Marshall - Former Associate Justice of the US Supreme Court
George Thorogood - American blues rock vocalist/guitarist
Thurogood Bernstien - Previously funny, now generally boorish radio golem and amalgam of self-justified suffering and not-quite-subtle racist pandering

Now he is walking back on all of his comments. He claims he was taken out of context. What a turd.

Still won't get another job in the NFL.

There's no significant difference between college and pro. The only real difference is the pros are better.

Yeah, I mean at least NFL players are fairly compensated for killing themselves.

Almost all college players are compensated fairly.

No.

So obvious it doesn't need explanation.

The pros are better, but the college game is a much more enjoyable watch. The atmosphere surrounding a college game is far more interesting. You meet/interact with far more (interesting) people at a college game. College tailgating is much, much more fun than at a pro game.

Hell, even the build up to college games is better than that of the pros. And for me, that even includes the Super Bowl.

I agree with this, but it all honesty a lot of that is from where I grew up. There were no pro teams so you had to get into the college game more.

Yup. The College game & experience is much better than the NFL.

Due to a new phone and the slowest day of work of the year I watched more college football today than than the past 3 years combined probably. Biggest thing I noticed probably was pace of play. The college game is much better officiated from an entertainment standpoint.
