Big hit by Flaherty. The O's are right back in this thing and they have Ned Yost thinking. Advantage O's.

That works cause there is no way in hell De Aza was getting that bunt down.

Don't know about the check-swing call, but the O's just earned those two outs. Momentum doesn't exist game to game, but within a game it sure as hell does, and it's way on the side of the fellas in orange & black.

I've only seen the last inning or so ... is this another evening of shitty home plate umpiring or was that call an aberration?

He's been pretty inconsistent all night. That call was definitely his worst.

Gotta love the bases loaded, no outs, and get no runs when you don't have a rooting interest.

Seems crazy to me that Bud Norris is a starting pitcher in the ALCS

Has anyone with Direct Tv had a problem with the feed for this game? Mine keeps going in and out.

Adam Jones comes to the plate with 2 guys on, 0 out and the KC pitcher, Herrera, just walked a guy after flubbing a play at 1B. So Jones immediately swings at 3 balls out of the strike zone and K's. Herrra seemed rattled after missing the base at 1st. Make him show you he can throw a strike a time or two, before swinging away.

Yost at work.

Take out Infante for pinch runner who can fly.

Bunt with a guy who has 4 homeruns

 But I guess it works out.

I like how Fox Sports 1 has this alternate broadcast style.

Royals take the lead late AGAIN! Good luck to them in the World Series.

It's .... interesting.

Would prefer it for a regular season game ... at the very least until I was used to it anyway.

Do not like bunting there to go to 2 outs when you are down 3 runs.

That seems like a big pile of horseshit. Since when can you shove the runner out of the basepath? If you can't block the plate anymore, how in the bloody hell can you (essentially) block first base ?!?

I think the only caveat there is the tag was applied before he blocked him. Otherwise, I think you'd have a case.

Also, Bumgarner fucking balked. It was clear as day. Should be 3-1, minimum.

Well maybe he'll get run early and then the Giants will make a soul-crushing comeback late in the game ... everybody wins?

Not likely. Already down 2 , 70 pitches thrown thru 3.1 ,bases juiced. He fucking sucks.

Not likely?!? Seemed for a moment or two that might be the path we were going down. Still could I suppose.

I misread your original post Don't. Looks like your scenario is playing out nicely. Plus a Molina injury. 8)
