There is no way PJ is getting that job. He has not accomplished anything anywhere yet. He just keeps bouncing from gig to gig. With the way he screwed NIU and went to tampa...and the way he quit at tampa to go to WMU I wouldn't be surprised to see him step on them for a promotion too.

He left (I guess) the NIU offensive coordinator job for an NFL job. Every coach in the history of NIU should/would do this.

I say "I guess" because he never really started the NIU job. In addition, he was under-prpeared to be the NIU offensive coordinator. It didn't really matter in the end.

I like him, don't get me wrong. I just wish he would accomplish something somewhere before moving on again. I was very disappointed to hear some folks out of Indianapolis say he was kind of an asshole to some recruits there. Something to the tune of him offering scholarships and withdrawing them on signing day and that the indiana high school coaches association has decided to not allow him visits or something. That is not the PJ I knew 20 years ago.

Except that going into yesterday, Atlanta was the #3 offense in the NFL and outside of Seattle, they are one of the best home teams in the NFL. Oops.

Falcons arent good this year.

Their offense sure looked like it no interest in playing hard ( Julio Jones in particular) yesterday . Whether or not it was a function of the Bears defense I don't know but I like the effort from them . Excluding the 1st quarter the offense played well too. Atlanta looked very ordinary all day for the number 3 offense ,

Going back to last season,Cutler has played very well. The two games this season where he sucked have been the exception. I think having both WR's injured since week 1 has hampered the passing game. They both look healthy now!

At least I had a half season of good games to go on with them. And I also never said Fitzpatrick was great, just good, which was obviously wrong. 1 ok game and you have Jones as a stud already.

I think everyone recognized Jones physical tools but he's not the brightest person. The Bears have been working on dumbing down the game for him.

Frank, the Falcons are a bad team. Going into yesterday they were 2-3 and got blown out by the Vikings in one of those. Don't get so defensive that you take this as an indictment of the Bears.
