SF fans booing Lackey for hitting Kung Fu Fat Shit, when he made zero effort to get out of the way of the errant breaking ball. Go eat your garlic fries and throat Lou Seal's dick.

Amazes me how many major league teams can't field a bunt.

Peavy and AJ has to be pretty close.

What do these things have in common... oh yeah. AJ.

I'd rather he served one up into McCovey than lose on a Walk-Off errant throw on a bunt.

If you are not going to steal why take out Aoki for Dyson?

That makes no sense to me.

Just Love Yost managing in the WS...can hear Bernsie over and over again that he's such a bad manager. Well he's a helluva a lot better than Robin and Ricky

Why do you say he is not good, because everybody else says so? Other than 1 decision, he has pushed every right button in this postseason, and he managed them well enough to get here.

Why do you say he is not good, because everybody else says so?

No absolutely not, why would you ever say that? As if a negative opinon of Ned Yost is something that needs to be explained?

He's been around a long time and consistently makes awful decisions. To say nothing of the fact that he was bad enough to be fired from a team that was going to the playoffs a week later.

So far he hasnt gotten in the team's way in this post season. Congrats to Ned. Still a ways to go.

Dusty Baker got further than Yost has gotten so far in 02 and 03. I dont think he's a good manager either.

I disagree and have always thought he was pretty good. I also thought it was a terrible decision to fire him when they did and it was a young owner that made that call. I don't think he would make that same decision today.

As you are seeing, a good team can overcome a bad manager. "Bad" being a relative term, of course. Ironically, what is largely considered "good" management is often just the opposite. Guys like Mike Scioscia who are constantly insinuating themselves into the game. Just sit your dumb ass down and let Trout, Hamilton, and Pujols bang the damn ball off the wall.

That's one thing I think King Theo definitely has right. The manager isn't there to make decisions. He's there because you have to have a dope in the position. You can see that Renteria understands his role. I think that's why Sveum really got fired. He wanted to be too manager-y.

Managers get to much blame when they lose and to much credit when they win, it is a very thankless job. Fans of teams that have quiet managers say their team needs more fire, teams that have fiery managers say he is to hard on the players. There in not a perfect science to it, and part of it is luck.

He's insignificant. He'll win with a good team and lose with a bad one just like every other guy. Yost is a moron and Showalter is Mr. Baseball. How's that going?

Don't leave in Choatee to face a right hander in an important playoff game...
