Sooner or later this has to be addressed. It seemed when Miami throws the ball, there is no Bear defender within 5- 10 yards. Every week,a lot of the time I see Marshall or Jeffrie covered pretty well and they depend on their leaping ability. Do these guys ever lose anybody with a few dekes here and there?
I wonder about how fast those 2 really are. The TE is more open but that could be the LB's drop deep.
I have noticed the same thing Jimmy. The Bears WR's never have separation from the DB. Neither Marshall or Jeffery are burners, but still. Bears need a speed guy too take the top off of the defense, & hopefully Marquess Wilson is that guy. I hoped that Holmes might be that guy, but he has been terrible & I'm surprised he is still on the team.
They dont run great routes.
Marshall ran one go and stop, had Finnegan turned around and JUST came back for the catch. Of course this is the same Finnegan that I have been hearing now for 2 weeks that he is done and the guy has done some really good work on Marshall and Nelson. he got under 15's skin today as well!
