Why would The Score give Mac DRIVE TIME and double his cash when he has missed around ~50% of his work days over the last several years? If you want the most important time slot you have to actually, you know, show up.

They didn't and won't. The odds of the Highland Hillbilly showing up for work everyday
are about 40%. Not worth it.

They'd never give Mac afternoon drive. It's Bernstein's slot. Bernsie doesn't take anywhere near the amount of time off that Mac does. Bernsie is a company man while Mac is always getting suspended and ruffling feathers. Plus, Bernsie likes the time slot as it allows him to play domesticated man at home with his kids in the morning and be home for a late dinner.
