I really disagree with your thoughts on Rose last year. He did not look ready. Every single aspect of his game was off. He was a poor ball handler, abysmal defender, couldn't finish at the rim anymore, didn't look confident at all in his shot once the games started mattering. Of course some of that is rust and timing, but to act like he's going to be fine when he is literally attempting an unprecedented comeback strikes me as ridiculously naive.
