That would imply there has been some of Yost proving me wrong. There has been none of that.

He continually makes horrible decisions. Its a credit to the team that they have played over his errors.

If he wins because of a terrible bunt or crazy stolen base strategy, then Ill give him props.

As of now, its the Royals homering late in most games.

To be honest to you and everybody else, he can't win. If he wins he will still lose, not right.

If he keeps making insanely low percentage of success type moves, then yes, he will still be wrong.

And possibly winning, because lord only knows there is only 1 way that baseball should be managed.

Even if the Royals get swept (Which I doubt), Yost gets the last laugh. His team won the pennant after being 26-29 on May 31st, and 48-50 on July 21st. Every manager makes questionable move at times, but Yost obviously has done some things right this year.

You're not being realistic. I know you know there are bad moves in baseball. Yost makes a lot of em.

This is not an accurate description of what has transpired. Its not like he's made a few questionable moves like all managers.

For all we know the Royals should have won 95 games and they got Yost-ed down to 86

They won 89, and they are playing in the World Series. There are 6 division winners that won 90+ games this year and they have been elminated.

Supposedly the SABR segment believe the Royals drastically overacheived in wins given their run totals, differentials and such.

You think that means winning 89 is better than 90+? I know you dont. So that doesnt really matter.

Look, you guys are really dancing around what you mean. You guys are saying the end justifies the means. Just own it. I strongly disagree. I think people can luck into success even when making bad mistakes.

Not really true. The run totals are pretty much right in line with where they finished

But they are good in one run games. I tend to credit the dominant pitchers in the bullpen rather than the manager.

Yost has fostered an atmosphere of winning and his players play hard for him. That matters.

His in game decisions are awful.

I dont think anyone believes everything they read. Not sure what the point is in saying that.

So you ARE saying the End justifes the means? Then we have no argument. We disagree fundamentally. Cant wait for tonight!

If they win the world series, he absolutely get all of the accolades that go with it, yes. Now if that end justifying the means so be it.

That's as bad as PFF grading Rodgers performance, awful.

I think Emery is an upgrade. The jury is still out on Trestman.

Damn right he is. Jerry Angelo was & is a doofus. Do I need to repost all of his draft picks and free agent signings? Its really really bad. Having said that, this new Bears regime is not doing well.

As I have said.....Emery is a slightly better spoken Angelo. He was a scout for Angelo. Wouldn't that be an automatic red flag?

Peggy Kucinski said it best: She was asked about the chances of Harbaugh being the next Bears coach. She said as long as this current ownership/management team is in place, they will never hire a coach who would be in the headlines.

Hell, when's the last time they hired someone with NFL head coaching experience? This is the franchise that provides on the job training for the most important positions.

Think about this: Emery passed on Bruce Arians and Mike McCoy to hire this fucking oddball.

I have zero trust in him.
