Wing Commander on the Sega CD? That shit was dope on the PC, yo!

Loved the original Syndicates.

PC: Any Sierra adventure game, same with Lucas Arts. Loved Wing Commander, Sim City, Command and Conquer, Total Annihilation. Flight sims too...F-19, F-15 S.E. etc

Any of those Civ games. All the bomb. Sid Mier is good at his job. Pirates was the goods.

War games as well, I like those, hard.

-Operational Art of War series
-Unity of Command
-Anything by Paradox.
-My fav being Panzer General 2.

Indeed. The way he blends the factors that make a Civilization flourish is amazing. It works perfectly.

Also if you've never tried Civ:Revolution on PS3, you should try it. It's an abbreviated version, but it's almost as fun as the PC ones. It's not as overwhelming and you can play a game in a couple hours.

This.

I probably spent more time playing that game than any other video game in my youth. When I was in Brooklyn about a month ago, I found a bar that had an arcade version of this. Beat my wife in a slaughter in 2 innings.

Used to play it after work against my roommate in my first apartment in Milwaukee after graduating
college. That was a fun couple of years around 2000.
