I had no idea these were available. They are now on my Christmas list.

Toys R Us Pulls 'Breaking Bad' Toys From Shelves Following Petition

Toys R Us has given in and pulled 'Breaking Bad' toys from store shelves.

This after a Florida mother began a petition for the chain to stop selling the action figures based on the hit AMC television series that starred Bryan Cranston as a chemistry teacher who begins cooking and selling crystal meth.

Toys R Us isn't saying the figures are gone from its shelves for good but instead says: "The action figures have taken an 'indefinite sabbatical.'"

Susan Myers' petition, which said the toys were "unsuitable to be sold" in the "family friendly" stores, had received 9,000 signatures.

There are numerous versions made by many companies & they are all very lifelike. Some of the figures are more than $100 each.
I suppose the prices could drop if Toys R Us dumps inventory. Either way I still gotta get these.

Did you take my comment as sarcasm?

I was being serious. The advancements since the wresting action figures of the 80s are insane

No. The Breaking Bad figures ARE amazingly life like. They're all very very good. I am a little bit surprised though that Toys R US agreed to sell these in their stores.

Their argument was that it was in the "Adult Action Figure Section"

If its truly an adult section it should have Saloon style doors and be off limits to children

Toys R US has an "Adult Action Figure Section"? Is there a Jenna Jameson figure urinating all over Jack Brickhouse?

Well, there is Jenna Jameson action figure. There are a whole bunch of different ones. I would post a pic here if I knew how to do it!

a friend of mine at work immediately went online to Toys R US.com and purchased a Heisenberg and a Jesse figure before they pulled them after the news broke of the petition. he said he paid $20 each for them, and he brought them in today and showed them to me. Fucking hilarious - both figures have blue meth as an accessory. Walts is what appears to be a little bag, and jesse’s is a fucking tray of the shit, like he just got done cooking! in both packages the meth is hidden from sight behind the cardboard packaging so you can’t see it unless you hold it up a certain way. Jesses also comes with a tiny container of chili powder. the package does clearly say ages 15+, but right next to that is another warning saying the small accessories are a choking hazard for ages 3 and under.

Been to toysrus with my kids hundreds of times and don't remember ever seeing an 'adult' section??? Sounds like a PR name for the section of the action figure aisle that all the other figures are in.

I asked "santa" for a Breaking Bad - Walter White bobblehead figure last year, I got one. I have it prominently displayed on my desk at work! Great conversation piece.

Aaron Paul Comments On Toys R Us After Breaking Bad Toys Removed

Aaron Paul is attacking Toys R Us for removing 'Breaking Bad' action figures from its shelves after a Florida mother petitioned against the toys.

Susan Meyers said Toys R Us shouldn't "sell a Breaking Bad doll, complete with a detachable sack of cash and a bag of meth, alongside children's toys" and called it a "dangerous deviation from their family friendly values."

But Paul, who played Jesse Pinkman on the AMC drama, argues that Barbie doesn't remember "family values" that are any better and perhaps more damaging to young girls.

"Wait, so Toys R Us pulled all of the Breaking Bad figures from their shelves and still sells Barbie?," Paul says on Twitter. "Hmmmm... I wonder what is more damaging?"

"And what about all of the violent video games you sell Toys R Us? Do you still sell those? Florida mom really messed it up for everyone."

Paul then directed his fans to sign a petition that would return the toys to the stores shelves.

Funny enough, that petition now has over 60,000 supporters compared with the original petition's 9,000 signatures.
