I really don't know why the station doesn't utilize these guys more. I know they are a one trick pony but during football season, give them additional exposure...of course Mitch is the one that didn't want to re sign them.

Circa 2006-2008, Doug would do the evening show when there was no Blackhawks/DePaul/NIU play-by-play. He either went solo or co-hosted with Hub. It was pretty good football-junkie talk, I feel, at least better than the Matt Bowen jargonpalooza. OB is the one who's rarely used for anything more than postgames. I'm guessing he's just old and doesn't feel like doing more.

Isn't OB independently wealthy from a series of not-entirely-not-sketchy investments? That this is basically just a hobby for him adds a layer of sadness. He really doesn't have to do this shit.
