I think Hudson pitches well tonight. Bum will be saved for an inning when the lefty bats (Hos, Gordon) are up in a big situation.

Ultimately feels like The Yost's will win tonight

Hope its a great game.

Its been a pleasure posting with you all thru these playoffs

I'm sticking with Royals. Hoping to see this go extras because I want more baseball between these two teams.

Seems like if anyone has a 2-3 run lead by the 6th, maybe even the 5th, inning ... well, it's not inappropriate to think of this as a lock to be a short game (in the same vein as for years playing the Yankees was always potentially a 7-inning affair ... you had 7 innings to not be losing, and if not, forget about it).

Would not mind at all seeing a new 10-inning 1-0 classic.

Great base running by Gordon but wow those are a couple of weak arms in left and center.

When did they go to 2-3-2 format? Is it just for the WS?

I forgot how this shit works.

Never mind, I found it. Not sure why I thought it was 2-2-1-1-1.

Baseball is a game of tradition.

I think it originates from the days when the WS was one of the biggest media events in the world, and modern charter flights and ability to secure hotels months in advance existed.

It's 9:46 in the only time zone that matters (according to the media) and they are only through four innings.
I don't think think I'm going to make it.

In most sports that is dumb old thinking. People are consuming all over the place in different ways. The prime time in EST is passe.

There it is. I was wondering how long it would take for Buck to tell me how many innings Bummer has thrown this year. 30 seconds wins.

Ned just bunted with the hot hitting right handed Escobar to get to the 0 for 16 against Bumgarner left handed Aoki

Reynolds just said "there's only two things that suffer when you are tired: your velocity and your location".

What else is there?
