Great World Series, and tip of the cap to both teams. Unbelievable job by Bumgarner, haven't seen a pitching job like that in the World Series since Hershiser. To bad baseball is over until March.

And with the SEC Network should be seeing a lot more of them.

Agreed, I watched more of this World Series than any in recent memory.

Ok this is really cool. It's amazing how quick major league middle infielders are. Panik took his first step in .03 seconds. How is that even human.

Think about it, a rookie middle infielder watching the pitch call & with the instincts to make that play (first step and great glove hand toss). Damn :D . All I could say after watching most of the playoffs is that there are more "baseball players" on the fields than at any point since maybe the 70's.

Ned just bunted with the hot hitting right handed Escobar to get to the 0 for 16 against Bumgarner left handed Aoki

And Aoki smoked the ball right at someone, isn't that the job of the hitter?

Took the bat out of Escobars hands and let Bumgarner only have to get two outs

You think it was a smart move or are you just defending everything he does now?

I forgot Yost was on that 82 team. He's always been your guy right?

Not at all, wasn't a fan of the Brewers back then. He stayed consistent with his philosophy, right or wrong I like that. And as I stated Aoki hammered the ball.

Oh ok. I just figured being a Brewer fan he might hold a special place for you because of 82

I understand that's how they got there, but man did he pick the wrong two guys in Escobar and Aoki.

I agree. The hit first lab experiments are gone and we're back to the athletic/instinctual ballplayers. I love it.
