Last night was the first game (other than playoffs) that I watched more than about 50% of in probably 2 or 3 years. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was flipping back and forth between this game and the WS, and with the down time in baseball I was able to catch a lot of this. I'm going to make it a point to watch more Bulls games this year. They could be a really fun team to watch, and seem like they are full of very likeable guys for the most part.

As I am not an NBA scribe, are the Knicks really that bad? Boy were they shitty last nite.

Yeah the Knicks are one of the 8-10 worst teams in the league. In that sense, we didn't learn a lot.

They'd only be 12 to 15 worst if they didn't re-sign Anthony

What's sad is he could have won a ring and got even more just like LeBron in 2 years.

He wouldn't win a ring. He's the guy who sucks. Just like Cutler.

That's a bad comp. At the very least, Melo is capable of putting up elite statistics.

Nas tells me all the time that Cutler is elite. And Cutler's stats are better than ever.

If I could ever offer you any advice it would be to listen to what I say because I'm more likely than not going to be right. Anyone would take a QB that has 36 touchdowns and 16 interceptions at the end of the year. Considering the schedule is actually easier I believe he'll do better than that. IIRC only 3 QBs have thrown 40 touchdowns in the past 3 years combined.

Heard a guy on B&B today. Some expert of some sort from out of town. He said this and that about Cutler than added that 15 teams in the NFL would take him as their starter right now.

Don't listen to Nas when it comes to Cutler. He's literally the Last of the Cutlerfans.

Also, Melo has put up significantly better stats relative to his peers than Cutler has. And that is a fact.

That's a roundabout way of saying there are 17 franchises right now, more comfortable with the in-house option than Jay Cutler. That's telling. But let's not ruin the joy of the Bull lid-lifter with bad Bear thoughts.

I'd be perfectly happy if Derrick averaged 14 points a game and six dimes in 20-something minutes a game, and 8-10 guys were worked into the rotation. Spurs model, there's nothing wrong with that model. That's how you expect your big players to step up because they are well rested by the time you get to the Finals, or Conference Finals.
