It was in one of the threads from the summer. I will try and remember. Zach Randolph. Faried. Griffith. Ibaka. Bosh. Milsap. Aldridge. Duncan. Davis. Gortat. Lee. Love. Thaddeus Young. Favors. David West. Nowitzki. That's about sixteen for now
Yeah that's 16.
Gortat is a textbook center. He's off the list.
Favors and Thad Young arent close. They're out too.
Lee's offense isn't as good as it used to be and his defense is atrocious. He's out.
Fairied is your energy guy, except he can't play a lick of defense and Taj is one of the best in the world defensively. Faried is out too.
So you have 11 guys, and Dirk, Duncan, and Randolph are near the end and Taj is in his prime.
so that leaves 8 guys I could see making a case for having over Taj for the next 2-3 years.
Consider this the dissenting opinion you said you would not get.
Just so you didn't think I was ducking your dissent I was trying to give you an out. Fareed is better than Taj. The fact that he was one of the better players on the Fiba team while Taj could not even get a tryout kills you there. And please don't find a guy whose really good that also didn't get a tryout to support your argument. that's a message board trick and it's weak. If Gortat your Center then Nene is your four no way he is better than Nene. The aforementioned Josh Smith is a better player than Taj. Gibson. The only person that you discounted that I may agree with is Favors not a big fan but I think he is better than Taj. I also want to reiterate that you used the Rev. Watkins like Taj doesn't have to get better the other guys simply have to get worst in order to knock off three guys. Also if there are only 8 guys better at the three which u suggest then Taj. should be in consideration for an all star spot come Feb. What are the chances that happens? And you say that I have bad sports thoughts.
