Durkin just basically said that Cutler stares down his receivers and is late to release the ball. Said Jeffery was wide open twice early in the game and Cutler missed him, and it all went downhill from there (on the all 22 cam).

So I guess we can probably partially dismiss the theory that the receivers just aren't getting open. Cutler is just a bad QB with good weapons.

It is. Once I jumped back on the #6 everyone attacks him even though he's on pace to have his best season ever. Better than any expert or critic predicted.

So strange that by every measurable number except W-L he is better this year.

Maybe he wasn't the first option.

Why do you guys care if we criticize Jay Cutler unfairly? He's really rich!

Cutler was better than Peyton Manning. The Bears shouldn't feel bad about that loss.

I thought similarly that the Pats have stepped things up since season's start. How terrible can the Bears be if they did that to Broncos?

The Bears are 3-5. That's why they suck. It's not like it was just one loss.

Of course. But just because it was a killing by Brady didn't make it worse. They made Manning look terrible. It was just a loss.

The Dolphins just shut out the Chargers. That means he outplayed Rivers too.

Update!
Dalton's rating for this game is now 2.0

And he's been benched for Jason Campbell.

Good chance Cutler drugged Dalton before the game. The man had to have been high.

He was about 10 yards past the line of scrimmage.

Cincy is 5-3-1 with injuries to the offense's top two players.

Chicago is 3-5 with no important skill position player on offense missing time.

My fantasy foe had Dalton. I awoke to his number of -1.78 and felt good.

Dalton's contract is commensurate with his skill.

He was about 10 yards past the line of scrimmage.

One of the worst plays I have seen made by a quarterback at any level. I couldn't believe how bad he was last night, I think he may have been throwing the game.

I was wrong.

I had too much faith in Trestman's ability to construct an offense. I didn't realize he had absolutely no creativity or ability to adjust.

They didn't need Cutler for this and he's not good at throwing 6 yard passes. It's the worst of all worlds.

They're better off with him throwing 35-yard interceptions than 5-yard interceptions. At least that's better than having the other team punt the ball before your own punter.

Did Cutler not realize this when he was interviewing Trestman for the job?

I don't know if he is hurt, but Cutler's throws over the last several games have just looked weak. Even his one TD pass yesterday was a pretty awful throw.

I've never been one to read or care about what Jay Cutler's face or body language apparently says, but to me it looked the last place in the world he wanted to be was playing that game in Green Bay yesterday.

3 more turnovers out of Jay. I didn't think he could be this bad.
