Jesus...talk about making a mountain out of a molehill....he's been talking about this for seemingly the entire show

I know it's a slow sport day, but you COULD talk about Bulls basketball or god forbid something else.

What did he say?

I didn't listen today, but yesterday he was calling for the Bears to cut Grossman for not being involved in the discussion with Griese/Hamilton when shown on TV.

Next road game is Saturday Oct. 20 against the Leafs. Original Six matchup on Hockey Night in Canada.

According to the substitutes today from 12-2 tonight is the slowest night in sports in the whole month of October. They did this whole bit about taking your spouse out to dunner tonight so the guy could get more TV time this weekend. They kept talking about how there is absolutely nothing going on in the world of sports tonight....

Which forecasts larger roles for Jiggles and the rest of the benchwarmers. All the more reason to watch TV and try to figure out if Jan Jeffcoat (Fox-32)is weird looking or somewhat attractive.

To pull a Spmack though, I'd still do her

That's even funnier because I know you're joking.

You know what Reader, I think she's both. She's attractive in an ugly sort of way. It's hard to explain but I'd bang the hell out of her though.

I'm ready as well, and will be ordering my League Pass in the next week or two. Love watching West Coast BBall during the season, and actually looking forward to seeing some of these teams in the East this season.

I really wish I could order it this year, too low on funds, but there is so many exciting storylines this year(I say that to myself every NBA preseason btw).

I wanna see the Bulls first 60 win season in a decade,
I wanna see the Bobcats surprise alot of people,
I wanna see the Celtics return to glory(although it is totally over-reported. They wont win the East but they should be good enough to make noise in the playoffs),
I wanna see the Suns rebound and prove why they should have won it all last year(damn you Stu Jackson),
I wanna see how Miami rebounds from a very bad year,
I wanna see Utah again shock casual fans by making the playoffs and making noise when they got there(though hardcore NBA fans will understand perfectly why this is the case),
I wanna see Chris Paul,
I wanna see if Iverson and Carmelo can actually live up to some hype,
I wanna see Kobe take the team to a higher level like he was about to when they were up 3-1 against the Suns a few years ago,
I wanna see Golden State show last years postseason wasnt a fluke
I wanna see Kevin Durant,
I wanna see the Spurs continually be the most overlooked dynasty in the history of sports
I wanna see Deron Williams in the playoffs again
I wanna see Noah prove all the haters wrong this year
I wanna see the Hawks be as frisky as I think they are capable of
I wanna see Lebron continue to take The Leap
I wanna see the Knicks be relevant again(actually..nevermind)
I wanna see the Pistons play again, its great basketball
I wanna see Tmac actually do something this year for once
I wanna see Yao be the Center he is capable of and rightfully take the thrown from Shaq
I wanna see Mike Conley, Jr.
I wanna see Jason Kidd play, hes the last dying member of the Oscar Robertson All-Stars
I wanna see Dwight Howard continue to be an absolute beast, and his progression to being one of the best PF's in the game
I wanna see Marcus Camby continue to be not only one of the most underrated players in the game today, but maybe one of the most underrated players of the last 20 years.
I wanna see Andre Igoudala play, he might be the most exciting AI playing right now.
I wanna see Chris Bosh and the Raptors play again, they epitomize how to play the game of basketball

I love this game

Good post Favre.

I want to follow the Celtics story because I prefer to see them fall on their faces. I love KG, but I've always been a Paul Pierce hater.

Jazz? Hell yeah man. As Regular Reader & Spmack can attest, nothing made me happier last year than seeing McGrady get bounced out of the first round.

I want to see Durant also but I wanted to cry when news broke about Oden's injury. I've waited to see Oden play in the league for the past two years now. (I'm an Oden ass-kisser.)

I love the Raptors too and I'd love to see a Bullz / Raptors playoff matchup.

You're right on the money with Camby. His problem was he came into the league amidst a lot of hype and couldn't stay healthy his first several years. He has rebounded and is quietly having some of the best years of his career. (Imagine if Camby were on those Sacramento teams instead of Webber.)

You're also right about the Suns. Mark my words: They will be in the finals this year. Not only do they have Nash & Marion, but Stoudamire is going to show why he's the best center in the league; and Grant Hill is going to surprise some people.

I think he gets 30 boards in a game this season
