Milwaukee should be up by 20 now. This is disconcerting.

I wish the Bulls had a Greek freek. Instead we have a Montenegrin Raef Lafrentz.

It sure looked like Rose was in a bit of pain when he intercepted that pass just prior to the half. :|

Taj and Gasol look like a great 1-2 punch. I like both of them playing together because they can both score.

 When Gasol is scoring and playing with intensity I will always show him some love. I really do like how they look together so far.

Nas, what are your thoughts on a very young Bucks team please? I have enjoyed watching them play so far this year and actually see some talent.

"Pau, Pau, Pau" can be taken out of the phrasebook immediately.

A lot of really good talent. If Kidd can develop that talent they will be good in a couple of years.

How much are we paying Mirotic this year? I'm really hoping this on-the-job training won't last all year, or more. He doesn't look close to ready.

I see the talent. He has a little bit of everything in his game. He doesn't look far away.

I like the 45 points from the big men. Has that happened in the last 14 years?

I see the talent too. He's not ready to play meaningful minutes right now. That seems very obvious. He's lost more often than not and many of his plays seem to be the beneficiary of broken plays or opponent mistakes.

He's definitely raw, but I like what I see so far. His movement with and without the ball is very good, and his shot will come along.

Mirotic looks like he will always have some head-scratcher moments but he is going to be really good, overall. There are times where I'm floored but what I see from him and then you need to remember he is a rookie to this league only.

What I don't understand is how that, and McDermott's rookie issues, are turning B&B into miserable piles of Chicago sports fan shit. I mean it is off the charts misery now.

And with respect to McDermott there is nothing that I see that says he cant improve his foot speed over his career and learn to be a better on-ball defender. He's just too damned smart and committed to not get the help defense and pick/roll to at least acceptable levels for Thibs.

I played with guys like that growing up and in the gym. They just kind of never look that quick or in control but they blow by you and you are left wondering. Add a killer jumper and solid height to that and I'm really excited about what he will likely become. He just needs to parlay that less-than-obvious athleticism into his defense.

I think in both those cases, 82 games at 15+ minutes a night might be enough to make them serious threats off the bench if Thibs doesn't actually go with McDermott in the starting spot at some point this season.

Dunlevey would have to literally be dead in order for Thibs to place McDermott in the starting lineup.
