i think that's what's more unlikable about him...that he is one of those stereotypical "i got fucked with now i'm the one who's gonna fuck with you" assholes who can't just enjoy the success they have. complete narcissism.

Grimace routinely screws up/is ignorant of the whole hard rock/metal genre. At the end of today's show, they were talking about Phil Rudd putting a hit out, and throwing out AC/DC songs. Shep threw out Jailbreak, which Grimace immediately corrected, "No, that's Thin Lizzy." Actually Big Purple, it is an AC/DC song as well, but he couldn't wait to point out what he thought was a mistake. Never mind that Shep was reading a list of songs on the web. That's the dude who couldn't correctly name a Zeppelin song.

There was another recent example. They changed the Over/Under intro and it included Over And Over by Black Sabbath. Grimace said "There's some Ozzy in there." While Ozzy indeed was and is in Black Sabbath, that particular song was sung by Ronnie James Dio.

that's a little picky--but the funny thing is, it's exactly what he would do to someone else for getting a technicality wrong.

Maybe for the AC/DC song, but Ozzy and Ronnie James sound absolutely nothing alike. It is clearly not Ozzy's voice in their segment intro. One of the producers probably told him there was a Sabbath song in there beforehand. Ozzy being the only singer of the band Grimace knows. I'm pretty sure he doesn't know Sabbath has had like 5 or 6 different singers.

I remember this one. No one who's ever heard Ozzy could make that mistake. The man can't tell the difference between Ozzy and Dio but takes the time to "become" the Monkees. Is there anything worse than a music snob with terrible taste?
