There's been a Taco Bell and McDonalds two block north for years. Rather have Culver's than a Chase branch.

Bummed me out! As they closed the one on Belmont at the same time. these are 2 I went to.

Culvers will close sooner than they think. Classic thought by a company "Oh, we will do so much business on gameday that it wont matter!"....WRONG!

At least the homeless will now have a second place to go in between McDonalds and breaking into my place!

Lake View probably has enough Connor McDoinks who moved down from Waukesha County for Culver's to do well enough.

I am 100% sure they will not come close to projections, just like Sweet Baby Rays who went out after 4 months right next door.

Kinda really familar with the area as I could hit that place with a 9 iron from my back door. Salt and Pepper does the Lunch crowd and Vines gets some as well. McD's and Taco Bell are your drive thru..and 7-11 and Starbucks are your snackers.

If you saw who sits in Mcdonalds all day (Game days included) they might have thought twice about this one.

Not saying I wont go there, it is a really good burger for fast food...but it will be very empty most of the time.

Isn't Salt and Pepper closing in April when that whole block gets torn down for the new construction project. I heard everyone got a notice. That's why Goose Island and IO already closed.

I have a Culvers probably 2 minutes from our house. Never eat there. We go maybe once a summer for some custard. Way too many better choices.

They weren't expecting such a cold winter either.

Didnt really expect it to be up for this year. takes some time to build.

Not sure on S&P, they own that building and may have sold it, it just might not have closed. The others needed leases, so Goose, etc had to move when they could.

S&P has shortened hours. Closing at 3 PM these days.

I am not a fan of there custard but if you are somewhere and your choices are the standard fast food and Culvers, it is a much better option in my opinion.

I have had the burgers only twice and I thought they were great both times. Was looking forward to having one for a quick burger outside my door.

I did have the walleye once when we were there for a fundraiser and I will say it was pretty good
