I am 100% confident that I would be proven absolutely correct if we had a side-by-side blind taste test of 100 random people.

And I don't care if Lou Malnati cultivates his own fennel seeds, his pizza is just not as good as Beggar's Deep dish - straight up.

And the best Beggar's locations are the 2 Blue Island ones and the Oak Forest one.

the side-by-side aspect seems crucial here

Art of Pizza is still the best one I've had in Chicago.

the crust of lou malnati's pizza is the greatest thing ever. even better than stuffed crust pizzas.... it's just perfect.

but then again i'm biased cuz i grew up on lou malnati's every week like the ritual that it was. when i finally got around to having the notoriously hipsteriffic burt's pizza (ordered the day b4 and all that fun stuff) my honest appraisal was that "wow, this is just like lou malnati's except that the crust isn't as good"

but you gotta eat the tomatos/sausage-sheet/whatever off of the pizza first so you're left with cheese dough and crust, then throw on some hot peppers and you're set. that's the itis right there.

Q Bov set up your 100 person taste test!

I think some of us just have more refined tastes than others!

Art of Pizza, good pizza with GREAT service. Always know you can get a slice and can get Pizzas at 10 AM.

Agreed. I hope they don't find some vampire hot girl at the last second that no one is able to properly get any image of on camera and watch Hank eat pizza for 20 minutes.

The McNuggett Challenge looked awesome, but I seem to remember a few other minor issues that it caused.

Where are you going to get a table that can fit 100 people side by side?

We watched the Bears disaster at a friends house. The owner of the house ordered pizza from Beggars, and another guy brought one from Lou's.

I brought day-old muffins. (scored a bunch at the local bakery that morning for next to nothing!).
There is my answer.

Yeah, Rick, are you courteous enough to bring day-old pastries?

I'll bet he slices them into many pieces, though.

Not really. I'll probably just assume that you do no matter what you say here anyhow.
So then why did you ask?

Make sure you place the pizza order under the name of a McCaskey.

What kind of psycho brings muffins to a football party?

Thanks for inviting me to your house. Here are my leftovers from breakfast from yesterday.

I had the croissant donut at Dunkin' Donuts over the weekend.

You know what it tastes like? A croissant with glaze on it.

It was alright. It just didn't taste much different than a regular glazed doughnut for twice the price.

I'd get it again if I was in the mood. But, I'm not a big doughnut guy.

The only acceptable purchase is a Boston Creme donut.

Most, like Giordanos, beggars, have sauce with sugar. It's not bad, just not lous.

One issue Lous has is that sometimes they get so busy, the rush the pizzas out and they need more time. I usually order WELL DONE these days...solves that issue

The first line is why Lou's is the best.
