I wonder how much of the locker room issues come from the fact that they fired a coach who had just went 10-6? A 6-10 team probably understands why the coach had to go. A 10-6 team probably doesn't.

I thought Lovie should be fired too so I'm not trying to act like I thought it was the wrong thing to do. It's just interesting to consider.

Lovie Smith does not make the defense 10 years younger. You could argue the DC (Marinelli) would have them playing better, but they would still be awful.

I dont think Lovie ever agrees to go get Jared 'Just missed him" Allen....and might not have been OK with Houston.

Getting rid of a lot of Lovie guys so a guy Marshall could be a "leader" probably was a terrible idea. This team doesn't have any leadership. Forte by all accounts isn't a guy that talks a lot or gets in the face of others.
