Unless we are talking about a fumbled snap QB's have very little control over not getting hit from the blindside.
It's pretty clear Nas is just having fun now. This is an undeniably horrible thought otherwise.

Why? Can a QB prevent a blindside hit? There are a couple of cases where he held the ball too long but the Bears were down and he was trying to make a play. No one will remember his hailmary interception against the Patriots either.

I don't know how many total games he has put the ball on the carpet, but he has lost a fumble in 5 different games during this career year he's having; http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/3608/jay-cutler

I agree, but there are QBs that get hit on the blindside every single week in the NFL and they manage to hang onto the ball.

I agree, but I do remember Cutler basically handing the ball to the Patriots. It literally looked as if he said, "Here take the football because I don't want it." I suppose that was the OLine's fault too though huh?

Yes. I expect every player with the ball not to fumble.

Even the garbage time production sucks. At 42-0 I would expect at least 24 points or something after the half from a supposed high powered offense, but even then nothing happened.

Yeah nas this is Jay's career year, meaning the end of his career as a viable long term starting QB. Screw Cutler and the horse that rode in on him.

That's fine. A lot of people feel the same way. Whether people like it or not most of the numbers Cutler is putting up this season will sit atop the Bears record book for single season stats by a QB.

This includes interceptions, fumbles, and might even include losses.

I don't hear people complaining about Murray's or The Big Rapist fumbles.

http://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats ... lost/2014/

I also noticed they don't include fumbles (or rushing touchdowns) with QBs stats.

Having a history of being a significant part of your team not losing helps smooth that type of thing over.

Murray is a running back who is helping lead his team to a 7-3 record.

Big Ben has put up some monster numbers this year, and his team is 6-4, at least in the playoff hunt.

We're not talking about other players anyway. We are talking about Jay Cutler and what he has and hasn't done for his team. I couldn't care less about how many fumbles the damn Cowboys running back has. What does that matter to the Bears at all except for when they play the Cowboys in December?

Stafford has terrible numbers but most Lions fans are happy with his production. When the Bears were winning and Cutler was in the top 3 in QB stats Bear "fans" were still complaining. Breaking every positive single season record isn't enough to make them happy.

Lions fans are happy because they are leading the division. Stop yourself.

The point is the fans of those teams aren't complaining about them. If the Bears were undefeated you and other Cutler haters would still be complaining. Breaking every single season passing record of a charter franchise doesn't mean anything.

Bears fans aren't happy even when they are. Imagine that? His stats matter when they have a winning record but his stats are meaningless when they have a losing record for the first time since he's been a Bear.

Nas, those teams are winning. That is the point of this whole thing. Its to win. The Bears, and Cutler, are not doing that.

If the Bears were undefeated I can guarantee Cutler would not have as many turnovers as he does.

Who gives a rat's ruby red ass about what some nebulous group of chucklefuck Lions fans thinks about anything?

Setting QB records for the Bears is the height of the "Tallest Midget Award" concept. Let me know when he starts breaking NFL postseason records.

Don't get me wrong - I voted for 'Emery' in Darkside's thread.

So your argument has gone from Cutler is overcoming an idiot head coach, to he might set single season Bears records this year, to the fans are bad fans and want the team to fail.

That is special.

My argument hasn't changed. Bears fans want to see Cutler fail. I've been pointing this out all season. Trestman has been awful most of the season. I started pointing this out during the Panthers game. Cutler is going to break nearly every Bears single season record and he's having a career year. I've been pointing this out for a while. Try to focus Champ.

There is a difference between hoping and expecting.

There were some pretty big read flags even as Cutler dominated the league for the first 3 games.

Nas is also the guy who was "sure" J'Marcus Webb and Chris Williams were the future of the Bears offensive line, Michael Beasley was a future All-NBA CENTER, Carmelo Anthony was headed to the Bulls, Drew Gooden was a fledgling perennial All-Star following his acquisition by the Bulls, Mark Prior and/or Lou Piniella would lead the Cubs to the World Series, and Barack Obama would be a transformative political leader.

His predictions/analysis have the same earmarks of success as the maiden voyage of the Titanic.

...Now let's all brace ourselves for his insane reply which will undoubtedly reference a somewhat accurate prognostication he made about the Bears in 2006. For the record, that may have been the last time he was even remotely correct about anything pertaining to sports.

Your record of prognostication is as wretched as your response is disingenuous.
