trade for Josh Smith

Cousins would probably kill him. Let's make it happen.

I just found this tidbit about Bagels' guy, J-Smoove.

Of the 271 players who've attempted at least 1,200 threes, his percentage of 27.9 ranks 270th.

I would love to know who is 271. Maybe Charles Barkley? Let me do some research.

Are you guys laughing at me for answering my own question, or for my superior knowledge of atrocious 3-point shooters?

watched that Grizz-Rockets game last night for awhile- Grizz put on a clinic

Rockets look good when they run & gun but when the Grizz forced them into their game they got completely shut down . Rockets reverted to iso Harden

Howard's just never a) going to develop a true post game and b) never going to shoot free throws well. Hakeem's even given up.

Zach Lowe is the fucking man.

Quote:
What will it mean if the Clippers bow out early again this year? How will it affect Paul’s legacy?

Maybe these aren’t the right questions. They’re interesting, and inflammatory, but they also skimp on the work in a rush toward some false generalization. Maybe the answer would just be, “Chris Paul is awesome, and he played fantastically, but another great Western Conference team was just a bit better over a full series.” Such a failure could mean many things, only some of which would have do with Paul. Perhaps it might be some indication that it is difficult to win the whole thing with a point guard alpha dog.

Paul is objectively one of the 10 greatest point guards ever, a rare combination of historic passing, very good shooting, slicing attacks toward the rim, and elite defense at his position. He has no weaknesses, save perhaps his height, which can make it hard for him at times to see over the defenses and throw the cross-court passes that LeBron tosses with such ease.

The game provides truth. When you have truth, you don’t need narratives — including the one that says a player is somehow flawed until he wins a championship. Death to RINGZ.

Chris Paul aint the weakness on that team. Blake Griffin is soft as a pillow.

Agreed. I just loved that the entire first half of that column came across as an exhausted rant at Bill Simmons.

It's amazing how the Bulls can kick the crap out of the Clippers on the road without their 2 best offensive players but the great Marshmelo is struggling to win a game a full strength in New York. I hope he enjoys those 3 extra years he got.

Now it is a 4 point game with :46.7 to go.

Lebron with 2 big turnovers in final 2 minutes as Spurs win by 2.

Charlotte a playoff just a season ago is now 4-8 on the young season. Noted scorer (at least by some on this message board anyway) Lance Stephenson is now avg less than 10 a game after scoring 6 and 10 points over the past two games. I'm sure the Bulls are really regretting the fact that they chose Pau Gasol over Lance "born ready" Stephenson.

He shot the ball 10 times and almost had a triple double. I would be shocked if Charlotte didn't make the playoffs. No chance Stephenson shoots 30% for the season. Did Taj suck against that height Monday?

Actually he was 4 for 12 from the field for 10 points. Noted scorer Stephenson whom the Bulls really should have targeted because he can "get his own shot" was 71st in scoring last yr.

Only you called him a go to guy. Did you forget already? If you look at the box score you may notice he hasn't averaged 10 shots the past 2 games and he does a lot more valuable things.

How is that Taj hate going for you? I believe he's averaging about 15 points a game in less than 30 mins and he gave the Clippers 20 the other night. He even made his layups. I thought he couldn't play against big people? How is your guy Marshmelo doing?

I'm wondering how 7 assists is close to a triple double. You promoted him as a scorer. He actually avg. fewer points than Boozer last yr. Taj is playing well though most of the game he guarded the non scoring Jordan. I thought Taj was supposed to start over Pau this yr. Also didn't you say that Pau wasn't any better than Boozer over did I imagine that also. Taj scored 2 points the game before I didn't bash him either. He is a good bench player. My issue has always been with him as a starter. He isn't and the fact is the Bulls obviously feel the same way because he has never been a full time starter.

He had a chance to win in double and triple overtime tonight. Missed them both.

Brandon Knight missed a wide open layup at buzzer in first OT. Hopefully a gif will show up soon.

The love of Lance apparently has subsided now that there are actually games being played. Indiana beat Charlotte with only one of their regular starters playing. They actually have a better record than Charlotte though Charlotte made one of the better signings (at least according to this message board) of the off season. Born Ready is really having an impact.

You imagine a lot of things that were never said and you're wrong about even more. How is Marshmelo doing? Have you been right about anything sports related?
