No, it wasn't a work.

I texted in about the Feder article and they texted back that they just saw it.

Same here.

Anyone think this is a work?

Usually when a station goes off the air, they pull everyone right away. Or at the most, they get a farewell day to say goodbye to listeners. A farewell month is unheard of. Maybe making a ratings push in anticipation of Mac coming in?

this is my exact thought.

I buy the story of them shit-canning Brandemier and Meier since those contracts are dead-weight, but letting fired people continue to broadcast for another month is a recipe for disaster.

i'm noticing that they've gone ~15mins without commercials. that kind of says something in and of itself.

and they just talked about the "the work" aspect. HI BEN! you escaped what i affectionately referred to as "radio siberia" (score sunday mid-day shows after NFL and b4 baseball) to end up in, well, radio siberia!

but we're listening now. make it count! get a ustream account and break bad on the industry every day from 12-3. get a patreon! we'll support you!

The friendly fire is unfortunate, but I'm fine with whatever it takes to rid Harry and Spike from the airwaves.

I wish the best to those at @gamechicago who just got the news. Many smart, nice, hardworking pros there who'll find bigger, better things.

well this sucks. I was hoping having a third sports station would improve the quality coming out of 670 and 1000. I really liked the programming on the game.

y'know, it would be crazy if they used Feder in all of this. I mean if it's a work.

Mac's coming back to work. I can't see how it's at either the Score or ESPN. So it's gotta be here. My guess is it's a re-launch on a new frequency in January.

so who is this demographic of people who never listened to sports talk before but once they discovered THE GAME had it locked on every day all day etc?

i figure the industry pays for some callers but they're not gonna pay for these, right? who the fuck are these people?
